The group drumming classes at Music Workshop have been created by Sean Jesseau; a
professional drummer, educator, facilitator and owner of Music Workshop here
in Thunder Bay. Sean has been delivering his programs locally for the last
thirteen years. Sean is a frequent presenter at local schools and has worked
with thousands of kids and teachers. Sean does teacher training and
facilitates music-making throughout the province and beyond with school
boards, festivals and conferences.
If your kids came home singing African songs, excited about the hand
drumming session at school, or talking about the Boomwhacker guy, chances
are they have already met Sean! |

Vocal Ensemble Class
New Vocal Ensemble Class for girls 8-13 yrs. old. Start right now!!
Youth Vocal Ensemble is a class led by Ulla Rouhiinen a talented vocal and piano teacher with 20 years of experience. Ulla is also the director of the Finnish Ladies Choir here in Thunder Bay and as well, leads her own quartet.
This class is designed to help young singers to develop their voices, to love singing and to
develop skill as performers. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Songs are chosen that engage
young singers and help them to enjoy developing their expression with songs, lyrics and melody.
No pressure, with an emphasis on singing songs with strength, clarity and emotional impact.
This is a ten week class running Friday evenings from Oct. 17th. to Dec. 19th. However,
a headstart package is available for those wishing to start rght away. The cost is $160 for
10 - 1 hour classes. Class size is small and spots are very limited and going fast so please
do register your singer right away!

There is nothing else to buy but we can recommend something for any budget.
(Ie. instructional book and drum).

Learn the Djembe, Dunun, Conga, Dunbek & Frame Drums.
Multiple classes for flexible scheduling and different levels.
